A decade of experience

VULCA is a member-driven, non-governmental organization. We run VULCA as a club prioritising members but still considering other contact important too.

Makers, MakerSpaces and Network of Makerspaces across Europe.

Our objective is to support our members to involve at the European level creating the right condition for them to tackle society’s challenge.

To achieve this, VULCA strengthens ties among these actors through actions such as organizing events, collecting and sharing information, and exploring different regions.

From Couch Surfing to Connecting Europe's Makers

It began with a group of friends, explorers of the European maker scene, sleeping on fabmanagers’ and hackers’ couches, visiting over 1000 makerspaces across the continent over the past 10 years. This journey ignited a passion to connect and empower the maker movement at a European scale.

Today, VULCA is a vibrant club of makers, makerspaces, and maker networks, dedicated to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and supporting the growth of this dynamic ecosystem.

We bridge the gap between local maker communities and the European stage, helping them connect, collaborate, and thrive.
