The RogLab Residency Programme has been created with the aim of promoting makers’ mobility.

It gives them access to the working space and all RogLab equipment, as well as providing full support of the RogLab technical team.

Residency can last between two and four weeks. RogLab normally has more availability in January, February, the first half of July, and the second half of August.

More information you can find following the link: https://roglab.si/en/makers-in-residency/

To apply for a residency, the maker needs to fill in the Application Form.

Priority will be given to makers who are committed to the values of sustainable design, circular economy and environmental and social justice and whose applications focus on the fields, materials and technologies listed in the section “Prepare your residency”.

RogLab in a nutshell

RogLab is conceived as a production, educational and presentation space in a 30 m²‑container object. It acts as a mini-hub for creatives with an emphasis on providing access to production tools. RogLab’s goal is to develop and test content, partnerships and working modalities on a small scale, which could in turn go on to find a permanent place, continuation and upgrade in the newly established Rog Centre.

More about RogLab

RogLab is a creative hub established in 2012 as part of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana. Slovenia’s first maker lab, it gives creators of all ages access to production tools and encourages the innovative use of maker technologies. Besides organising trainings for the independent use of our equipment, various courses and workshops for both children and adults alike, we produce creative projects responding to the challenges of today’s society and the urban environment, while broadening the scope of our programme through a network of partner institutions. In 2018, RogLab received the prestigious Eurocities Innovation award.
